This week’s collection, both in church and online, will support FAID School for the Deaf in Beirut, Lebanon.
The Father Andeweg Institute for the Deaf provides assistance, education, services and other resources for deaf children aged 3-18, regardless of their religion, gender, ethnic or national origin. SJU alumnus John Van Rooy helped create a campaign to assist Syrian refugee children (not eligible for Lebanese governmental subsidies) to attend the FAID School.
