Father Simeon Thole, age 85, died peacefully in the Saint Raphael Hall retirement center at Saint John's Abbey on Sunday evening, July 19, 2020. 

Simeon (James) Thole was born in Moorhead, MN,  April 21, 1935, made his profession as a monk of Saint John’s Abbey July 11, 1956 and was ordained on June 2, 1962.  

FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS:

Reception of the Body and Vigil of Monastic Burial prayer service in the Abbey and University Church at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 24. 

Mass of Christian Burial in the Abbey and University Church at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 25, followed by burial in the abbey cemetery.
