The Election of an Abbot
The election will begin on January 8th to allow for nominations and prayerful discernment with the voting members of the Saint John’s monastic community. The first votes will be cast on the 9th and may continue through the 11th if necessary. The announcement of the new abbot will be made shortly after the confirmation of the final vote on any day between the 9th and 11th.
