The Spring 2025 issue of Abbey Banner examines the virtue of hope.  Abbot Douglas Mullin reflects on the springtime of hope and on the Jubilee Year of Hope proclaimed by Pope Francis.  Brother Aaron Raverty introduces us to the concept of a holy year and to the Jubilee Year of Hope 2025.  Father Anthony Ruff reflects on the Easter presence of our Savior—the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist.  Father Cyprian Weaver shares another facet of the celebration of Easter: the production of Ukrainian pysanky eggs.  Dr. Micah D. Kiel introduces us to the papal encyclical Dilexit Nos (He Loved Us) as well as to Antiqua et Nova (Ancient and New), the Vatican’s guidelines on artificial intelligence.  In this issue we also learn about Saint John’s currency, highlight Pope Francis’ exhortation to support and welcome migrants, conclude our series on monastic timekeeping, and more.
