Ofrenda – Altar of the Dead

As has been the tradition at Saint John’s Abbey for a number of years, the  traditional Ofrenda-Altar of the Dead has again graced the area outside of the Abbot’s office entrance.  

Members of the monastic community have placed pictures of their loved ones to be remembered during the month of November. The altar was blessed on the morning of November 1st following Morning Prayer.
