Being Benedictine Across Generations
Lunch and Learn: Being Benedictine Across Generations
Presented by Jessie Bazan
November 19, 2019
How do people of different generations embody Benedictine spirituality? Practices like obedience, listening, and hospitality have rooted Benedictine communities since the beginning – and these practices take on a new life with each generation.
Jessie Bazan, SOT ’17, recently published a book focused on intergenerational sharing with nine other millennial theologians and Sr. Joan Chittister, OSB. She will draw on stories from the book to help us see with fresh eyes the ways we live out Benedictine practices in our work today.
