Mass of Christian Burial for Fr. Kilian McDonnell, OSB

Fr. Kilian McDonnell, OSB, embraced eternal life last night about 8:30 pm. May he rest in peace!

Fr. Kilian was born on September 16, 1921, in Great Falls, Montana.  He professed vows on August 24, 1946, and was ordained to the priesthood on June 7, 1952.

We will receive his body on Monday, September 15, at 7:00 pm in the Abbey and University Church. We will celebrate his funeral Mass on Tuesday, September 16, at 3:30 pm in the Abbey and University Church. The funeral service will be live-streamed at YouTube.com/SaintJohnsAbbey.
