Since opening in 2006, the Abbey Guesthouse has offered a place of hospitality, retreat, prayer, and reflection. Its thirty rooms welcome guests into the natural beauty of Saint John’s and the daily rhythm of Benedictine life. People of all faiths are invited to seek spiritual renewal, join the monks for prayer and Eucharist, participate in Spiritual Life Program retreats, and receive spiritual guidance from a monk trained in this ministry.

Two endowments help sustain this welcome. The program endowment supports the Guesthouse’s ministry and helps make retreat rooms available to guests regardless of their ability to pay, reflecting the hospitality called for in the Rule of Saint Benedict. The building endowment helps maintain the facilities as the costs of their care continue to rise.

Your generosity supports both the people who come seeking renewal and the place that receives them. A gift helps ensure that Benedictine hospitality remains available to those who need time for rest, discernment, and prayer.
